ive decided to start a blog again.
anyways. this time its called les saisons. its actually 'THE SEASONS' in english, composed by tchaikovsky. i love the octobre(october) part out of this collection, and i decided to name this blog les saisons cos first i think this whole collection holds great meaning and all, and ill be playing juli (july) for my next perf in...three months time.
i wanted to pick this piece called sunflower. its actually a cheena folksong, but please, this is so diff from the chinese(ppl&sub) we see in school. this song screams art and dignity, [unlike some people] you all shld get the track from me & hear it...
anyways. my brother picked that song alrd. so i cnt -.-

and a few othere itty bitty stuff like structural devices ornaments yadayada...
& figured bass scares the living lights out of me.
consecutive 5ths are like forever inevitable in my answers..

im not satisfied with the shindlers list though.. piano cannot create that kind of heart wrenching, sorrowful sound. cos its like sustaining thin chords on the piano sounds really awful. unlike the violin...
so i tried picking it up myself.
within an hour, i can play C maj, both minors, G maj ;) and a little of the song itself. cos i have the violin sound track...thanks to zoee.

i cnt stand playing it on grandpiano. schimmel grandpianos super heavy, its touch i mean. waah. my fingers are like sore after every lesson -.- but i like that piano. its not the lousy y_ma_a kind. dunno why they so popular. sound so stark..so unworthy of its brand name and price.
i went to the yama_a store at upper thompson[?]
i ask the sales man.

he said
' because yama_a pianos are of the best grade...hence the WONDERFUL sound, and ... (he saying some technology stuff) hence the notes are able to BOUNCE back very quickly...'

so and so grand pianos are of the best grade? oh please. i wanted to vomit blood there and faint infront of him. but nono. i didnt want to spend anymore time there. gave him a 'hah i know you know your pianos suckk' kind of look. grabbed my smart looking bro and left. i know i mean. who ask him work for yama_a..?
